Thank you for this article. As a SEO consultant it is difficult to look people in the eye and tell them ” Look how much traffic you are getting (without the actual conversion rate “from ads to riches”).” Its quite obvious that relevance will prevail but killing spam and irrelevant content will result in birth of other electronic intruders. Privacy will probably if not already (it is) the new commodity.

1. Authority in the Hands of the People!. 2.don’t just drive traffic, drive conversions. Good Points.

This is a terrific post…I just learned that over 5 billion people have cell phones and that there are 7 billion people on earth…that’s a crazy stat. In addition, according to eMarketer, mobile spending will exceed $1.8b USD this year increasing 47% each year…that’s nuts! I wish I knew more about this market and I am trying to so thanks for this article! I did download a plugin on my wp blog called WPtouch and I am still testing it out…I’m not sure the amount of draw it has on my blog page load time yet, but as long as you log onto my site once, I can then see the mobile app happen…thanks again!

Hi Jaime, glad you liked the post and it’s helped you. In terms of updating themes it is much dependant on 2 things 1) what the update is and 2) where its from.

For example a theme such as Twenty Eleven would probably over write your header file, but updates to other themes in WP directory may not. Themes updating from outside WP, such as WooThemes are not likely to loose the data… one solution is simply to copy the full header.php file from the editor and paste it back… alternately (could be wrong on this) I suspect the Yoast SEO or AIO SEO plugin will include it.
